This is a medical malpractice case arising out of the death of a two and one-half year-old child in which the trial court granted summary judgment dismissing the complaint. The primary issue presented is whether in order to establish medical malpractice against a board-certified specialist plaintiff is required to present expert testimony from another physician who is board-certified in the same specialty. We conclude that plaintiff is not required to do so, if the expert testimony presented by plaintiff complies with the requirements contained in I.C. Â§Â§ 6-1012 and 6-1013. We reverse the summary judgment of the trial court.
